The purpose of the Madison-Camagüey Sister City Association is to allow the people of the Madison area and the people in the Province of Camagüey, Cuba to get to know one another as individuals, as members of their communities, as citizens of their countries and the global family of nations.

Specifically, the Association aims to help members

  • Express their belief that international understanding and cooperation are best promoted at the grass roots level, person-to-person;
  • To help bring humanitarian aid to the people of Camagüey; and
  • To participate in cultural, educational, agricultural, technological and athletic exchanges
