RAFFLE DETAILS:

The Madison-Camaguey Sister City Association is holding a raffle with a grand prize of a trip to Cuba to visit our sister city in 2005. The raffle is part of the association's annual fund raising drive. The proceeds from the raffle will support humanitarian aid for our sister city including medical supplies and improvement projects at health care clinics with a special focus on assisting the Wisconsin Medical Project (see the attached news release).

The prize offered is round trip airfare from Miami to Camaguey, Cuba, and hotel and breakfast, travel visa, and transportation in Cuba for one week. A future trip with the Wisconsin Medical Project will occur early next year. The prize - winner could also opt to receive $500 in lieu of a trip.

Only 250 raffle tickets will be sold. Each ticket is $20. The drawing for the raffle will be at the December 2004 Annual Meeting of MCSCA. Raffle participants need not be present to win. There are no restrictions to participation in the raffle – it is open to the public and association members.

We are encouraging association members to purchase raffle tickets as well as sell tickets to others as part of the fund raising effort.
