The travel license for the Wisconsin Medical Project has been approved through July 31, 2010.  The first license was issued in 2004.  Since then, it has been renewed each year allowing the medical project to send an average of three delegations per year and eight 40 ft seagoing containers.  Dr. Bernie Micke, president of the Medical Project, said, “The renewal allows us to maintain our relationships with the doctors and the health care community in Camagüey and to continue supporting their hospitals, clinics and medical facilities”.
