Donations needed for the November Silent Auction
Sep 3rd, 2009 | By Scott Fullerton | Category: MCSCADear friends:
The Madison-Camagüey Sister City Association will have another wine tasting and silent auction on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 (mark the date!) and we’re already in the planning stages. As we have done the last two years, the event will be held at the newly-reopened (and refurbished) Cardinal Bar.
I am writing to ask that you consider making a donation to the silent auction.
We prefer the item be of Cuban origin–paintings, cigars, framed posters and photographs, objects d’art, collectibles are all welcome. Additional items will also be considered to round out our fundraiser.
Please let us know via this form or by sending an email to “info (atsign) madisoncamaguey.org”. We would like to collect most of the items by the end of September.
The two previous wine tastings and silent auctions have been very successful and allowed us to raise much-needed funds for our ongoing humanitarian projects in Camagüey. This year we will be fortunate to have camagüeyano artists, Orestes Larios and Gregorio Perez, joining us while they’re in town for their exhibition at Edgewood College (November 4 to 24.)
We look forward to your support and participation in this Fall’s effort.
Sincerely,
Ricardo Gonzalez
President
