Ricardo Gonzalez to receive the 2011 Martin Luther King Heritage Award
The Governor’s 2011 Martin Luther King, Jr., Heritage Award will be presented to Ricardo Gonzalez, at the State Capitol on Monday, January 17 at 12 Noon. This event will be carried live on Wisconsin Public Radio and TV. The award is in acknowledgement of “his past and continued work for social justice, community service and accomplishments as a well-respected and deserving public figure.” (Oscar Mireles, Chair, MLK 2011 State Planning Group). The other recipient will be our good friend Judge Paul Higginbotham, making this event even more special.
